Sarah Good

Sarah qualified as a dentist in 1997 from Guy’s Dental Hospital (UMDS) and continued at Guy’s to gain experience as a hospital dentist in oral maxillofacial surgery and oral medicine.

After completing further exams at the Royal College of Surgeons, she returned to Guy’s in 2000 to begin a three-year full-time specialist training in orthodontics between Guy’s and Kingston Hospitals . She achieved both a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics ( University of London) and a Membership in Orthodontics (Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh) . This enabled her to become a Specialist in Orthodontics in 2003. Sarah is on the General Dental Council’s list of specialist orthodontists.

Sarah continued her training at Great Ormond Street and the Royal London Hospital for a further 2 years complete her Fellowship in Orthodontics ( Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh) and enable her to take up a post as an NHS Consultant in Orthodontics. Sarah was a Consultant  at King’s College Hospital 2006-2010  before she was appointed Consultant Orthodontist at Guy’s and St Thomas’s Hospital, London where she continues to work in the Evelina Cleft Unit as a Lead Consultant Orthodontist.

She has taught postgraduate orthodontists since 2003 and has presented both Nationally and Internationally at orthodontic and dental meetings.She has also published articles in Orthodontic Journals winning the best clinical paper in 2024 at the British Orthodontic Conference.

Sarah is currently a member of the British Orthodontic Society (previous past secretary of the Training Grades Group), a member of the Craniofacial Society of Great Britain and Ireland and a member of the European Aligner Society. Sarah has worked in private practice in Central London for the last 17 years and enjoys treating patients of all ages . She used fixed appliances and aligners and as a Consultant Specialist , enjoys working along side other specialists to provide bespoke care for patients such as those wishing to have restorative work or facial surgery .
